LIVE VIDEO FOR ROOM SETTINGS AND STAGE
WorkshopThis course introduces the possibilities of video images for the stage and performative settings in space.
Video installations for the stage are understood as independent artistic works. They are closely linked to the rehearsal process and are created in dialogue with the director and the other artistic trades of stage design, costume, lighting and music. The video and film works include all conceivable techniques such as multi-channel installations, live cameras, pre-produced films with actors in the set or at locations installed outside the theater space, mappings, document cameras, live collages, front and rear projections on various materials, green screen, loops, found footage montages, animated film, animation, typography, etc.
In the workshops we develop scenes for the use of live cameras, microphones, loudspeakers and beamers and realize front and rear projections on various materials.
