Basics of Moving Images „My camera, my rules“

In "My camera, my rules", students learn the design principles for artistic work with the moving image and try them out in practice. Based on the teaching of technical and creative skills, as well as the joint examination of historical and current key works of video art, students gain a differentiated insight into the artistic potential of the moving image. The aim of the seminar is the realization of their own video project, which can pursue performative, documentary, narrative or creative-experimental approaches. Students receive advice and assistance in planning and implementing their video projects.

The practical handling of camera, light and sound is taught seperatly by Martin Pflüger.

For KuM and VK students (BA from 2nd semester).
