"Twinhood" is a short film set in the early 2000s that portrays a brief period in Sof’s (10 y.o.) life when moving to a new apartment. In this environment, Sof deals with questions of (gender-)identity and finds comfort in a figure that is at the same time a double and a projection of herself.
The film has a fluid structure composed of moments of childhood intertwined with the future in Sof’s adulthood. These timeframes are connected by the element of water, as a matter in which the body doesn’t have to explain itself.
