The documentary Maritim follows the crew of the international environmental organization Sea Shepherd for 48 hours as they patrol the Baltic Sea with their ship during the Baltic Sea Campaign. The aim of the campaign is to track down illegal fishing and ghost nets and to clear the sea of garbage carpets.
The film uses observational images to capture the everyday life of the ship's crew and depict it as objectively as possible. Scene by scene, the world of the team's meticulous work on the deck of the Triton opens up, where no two days are the same.
