Taking photographs in Berlin clubs is prohibited. “Stolen Images” is a series of paintings depicting real scenes observed in Berghain, ÆDEN, KitKatClub, and ://about blank. The painting process was recorded using glass and gouache paint. Sounds and music, recorded on site, contribute to grounding the work in each club's distinctive atmosphere.
