A video portrait of Moabit district, narrated by residents who live near the local prison. Moabit Prison sits in a quiet residential area, just five minutes from the main train station. Since moving here, I've often wondered why prison is located in the very city center and how it affects the neighborhood. With my love for architecture, this dominant piece of the district's landscape inspired me to create this documentary with a visual focus on architectural photography. I interviewed neighbors living across from the prison to find out how it impacts their daily lives and if it does at all.
