Between Fabric and Story: An Episodic Fashion Film

In the winter semester 2025/26, students from both classes will develop an experimental fashion film composed of several episodes. The starting point is model and actress Gigi Spelsberg — simultaneously a real person, a performative figure, and a projection surface for social questions. In tandems of film and fashion students, miniature pieces will be created that intertwine documentary, fictional, political, and personal moments. Clothing, body, camera, and narration will overlap to form new modes of storytelling.
The semester includes a kick-off, workshops, concept development, shooting, and post-production; it concludes with a screening of the complete work.
