ON DISPLAY – screens, streams and facades

During the summer semester, we will deal with the complex role of moving images in urban society and examine their effects, meaning and implications. It is not only in public spaces that we are surrounded by displays and advertising spaces, information boards, notices and entertainment media. How does this shape our perception of the public sphere and society? Which images do we want to add, take away?

The works can take a documentary or experimental approach, be narrative / non-narrative / anti-narrative, performative, critical, humorous or surreal.
