Basics of Moving Image I: Time
SeminarParticipants learn the design basics of film and video and try them out in practical work. They will gain insight into the broad field of time-based media, an introduction to the history and theory of film and media art, as well as advice and assistance in planning and implementing their video projects. These can be performative, documentary, narrative or creative-experimental works with pure real footage or animated elements.
The practical handling of camera, light and sound as well as digital film and sound editing are taught in accompanying workshops.
Conditions of participation:
Admission is open to students of KuM and VK from the 2rd semester onwards.
Students participating in the moving images class will have priority.
