The work explores the personal confrontation with intergenerational trauma. Self-acceptance and renewal through the confrontation with pain and suffering are symbolized by a burnt patch of forest: decades of ignorance of sustainable practices lead to harmful patterns that can only be remedied through active intervention. The protagonist interacts with the burnt landscape in order to overcome his inner conflicts and create space for new development. 1.
